Can I send Prosecco as a gift?
Yes, but a licensed retailer has to ship it, an adult aged 21 or over signs for it, and state and local laws decide where wine can go. Never post a bottle yourself. You can order Bella Principessa online from Primo Liquors and send it to their address where the state allows it, or buy it at a Florida shop and give it in person.
How sending wine works
Wine is not like a sweater. In the US, it has to travel through a seller licensed to ship alcohol, and the person receiving it must be 21 or over and sign at the door. State and local laws decide where wine can be delivered, so not every address can receive it.
That's why you should never pack a bottle and post it yourself, however well you wrap it. The licensed retailer handles the rules so you don't have to.
Online orders for Bella Principessa go through Primo Liquors, a licensed retailer: put their address in as the delivery address at checkout.
Why Bella Principessa makes an easy gift
- No wrapping needed. The bottle is ceramic-painted with flowers and butterflies, with no paper label and no sticker. It arrives already dressed for the occasion.
- Two clear choices. The Gold is crisp, with green apple, pear and citrus. The Rosé Brut is dry and pink, with strawberry, raspberry and ripe peach.
- Real Italian Prosecco. Prosecco D.O.C. is on the label, and it's made in the Veneto from hand-picked Glera grapes.
- A considered price. The suggested retail price is $20.99, a thoughtful bottle that won't make anyone feel awkward.

Gold or Rosé for a gift?
Think about the person and the moment. For a host gift at a dinner, the Gold goes with almost any menu. For a birthday, a new baby, a thank-you or anyone who loves brunch, the Rosé tends to win hearts the moment it comes out of the bag. Not sure? Bring one of each and let them choose. Making the gift feel special
A bottle of Prosecco says "let's celebrate", so give it with a reason. Chill it before you hand it over if they might open it on the spot. Pair it with something small and edible: a wedge of Parmigiano, a jar of good olives or a box of strawberries for the Rosé. Add a handwritten card of your own and you have a present that looks far more considered than its price.
For a bigger thank-you, such as for a team, a wedding party or a client, a mixed set of Gold and Rosé looks generous lined up together, and every bottle is already dressed.
