Can I order Prosecco online and have it delivered to my state?
In most of the US, yes: a licensed retailer can ship Prosecco to your door if your state and local laws allow it, and an adult 21 or over signs for the box. You can order Bella Principessa online from Primo Liquors, a licensed retailer that ships to 43 states. In Florida, our shops have it too.
How wine delivery works in the US
Wine is not like other parcels. In the US, it has to be sold and shipped by a business licensed to do so, and every state writes its own rules about who may ship in, how much, and to whom. Some counties and towns add rules of their own.
That is why two neighbors in different states can see different answers on the same website. It is not the shop being difficult. It is the law where the box is going. A retailer that ships wine has to follow those rules for every order, which is why licensed sellers ask for your delivery address before anything else.
Who sells and ships Bella Principessa
proseccowine.com does not sell, take payment or ship anything itself. When you press Order online, you go to Primo Liquors, a licensed retailer that ships wine to 43 states through its Full Circle fulfillment team, and you check out on their site.
A licensed retailer checks each delivery address against the rules for that state, so if yours is one it can’t ship to, you’ll know before you pay, and a shop nearby is the next best thing.
We will not quote delivery times or promise a particular day until they are confirmed. When we know, this page will say so.
What to expect on delivery day
- An adult signs. Someone 21 or over must sign for the box and may be asked for photo ID. Wine isn’t left on the doorstep.
- Plan to be in. If nobody is home, the carrier will usually try again or hold the box for pickup.
- Office addresses help. If you are out all day, a work address where an adult can sign is often the easiest choice, if your workplace allows it.
Check the box when it arrives, and chill the bottle for a few hours before opening. One more thing: never pack and post a bottle yourself. Shipping wine is a job for licensed sellers only.
What to order
Both wines are Brut, 11% alcohol, in 750 ml bottles (about 25.4 fl oz), with a suggested retail price of $20.99. The Bella Principessa Prosecco D.O.C. Rosé Brut brings strawberry, raspberry and ripe peach. The Brut is dry and crisp with green apple and pear.
